Broyhill permit parking expansion approved

ATTENTION Broyhill Park Residents who live on Marc Drive, Carol Lane, and upper blocks of Parkwood, Kenney, and Norfolk.  At the January 25 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board unanimously approved our petition to expand Broyhill Park’s Residential Parking Permit District. Keep an eye out for a letter from the county that will be coming soon with instructions on how to apply for parking permit decals for your cars.  Also in the next few weeks, No Parking signs (during school hours) will be installed throughout the expansion area.

Existing, not getting ticketed tho

This is great! But the permits/signs that already exist do nothing. Students parking down hollyhill and corner of jacks lane and buses can’t turn. Why aren’t they getting ticketed daily? Why does the community have to call non emergency to complain? This is still a mess in the morning all the way down marc dr to FCHS. So again the signs that exist now haven’t worked what makes you think this will work? If not getting ticketed it solves nothing.
